New Ordinance and Enforcement of Carbon Monoxide Detectors
The City of Meridian repealed Electrical City Code 10-3-1(C)(2) entirely without replacement. The use of “non-metallic” type NM cable is now allowable to be installed in commercial residential type units per the requirements of the 2008 National Electrical Code section 334.10. This change is applicable to all new project submittals and all projects in progress effective September 5, 2012.
